Degree in Computer Science (Dipl.-Inform.) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) in Computer Science with specialization in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

 

Areas of focus

My passion lies in the intelligent use of data. I support organizations in transforming complex data landscapes into clear, strategically actionable insights. My focus is on data platforms (data warehousing and lakehousing), data engineering, and analytics architectures that not only excel technically but also create tangible business value. A key priority for me is designing sustainable, scalable architectures that already anticipate future requirements such as advanced analytics and AI applications. I combine deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial thinking and place strong emphasis on quality, governance, and performance. Beyond technological implementation, I strongly value close collaboration with clients, as successful data projects always emerge from an ongoing dialogue between business and IT.

As an Oracle ACE Director, I am actively connected within the international data and analytics community. I regularly speak at conferences, participate in expert panels discussing current developments, and contribute insights on topics such as cloud data platforms, performance optimization, and AI readiness. My goal is to drive innovation responsibly and support organizations worldwide in leveraging data strategically, efficiently, and sustainably.
